Lee set for June bout in New York

Andy Lee says he will finally get ‘back to the big time’ when he takes on John Jackson in a WBC world title eliminator at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on June 7.

Lee made hard work of his last bout, outpointing Frenchman Frank Horta over eight rounds in Denmark last month, but said it was an invaluable experience after a period of inactivity.

And now he is ready to produce his best, back on the big stage, when he makes his light-middleweight debut against Jackson in the Big Apple.
