Teague buzzer-beater sinks Cavs

Jeff Teague’s 34-point-haul, including a first career buzzer-beater, lifted the Atlanta Hawks to a 127-125 double overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA.

Teague, who also had 14 assists, saw his 20-foot tie-breaking jumper bounce off the rim five times before dropping through the net, ensuring Kyrie Irving’s 40-point contribution for the Cavs was in vain and securing a dramatic win for the visitors.

Elsewhere, Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds – his 10th double-double of the season and 768th of his career – to help San Antonio topple Dallas 116-107.
