Ralph ready to return to winning ways

The inter-track action from Curraheen Park will certainly attract much of the interest at Shelbourne Park this evening, although there are one or two high-class contests on the card at headquarters.

One such race is the ninth race, run over the 550yds trip, featuring some of Ireland’s fastest, including Derby finalist Coolykereen Imp and Scottish Derby winner Barefoot Allstar. Throw in Forest Ralph, Swift Marathon, Rival Reward and Krelco, and it stands out as the race of the night.

Much will depend on the early exchanges, but the draw may just swing the verdict in favour of Forest Ralph.
