The inter-track action from Curraheen Park will certainly attract much of the interest at Shelbourne Park this evening, although there are one or two high-class contests on the card at headquarters.

Just two days to the semi-finals of the Connolly’s Red Mills Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park and, thankfully, still no negatives emanating from any of the kennels involved.

On all known evidence Sparta Maestro will be crowned the Billy Mulvaney Jnr and Snr Memorial 600 champion this evening.

Sparta Maestro produced one of the greatest performances ever seen on these shores when lowering the 600yd track record at Shelbourne Park last weekend.
