Barracks are well drilled

“You have to have a dream,” says David Curtin; “Everyone needs a dream.”

Barracks are well drilled

Forty years ago David bought a hillside farm just outside his native Tournafulla, over 100 acres of very challenging land. But David had a dream, and decades later he and his wife Noreen (and nowhere was partnership ever more true than working the land back then) were able to turn over a thriving dairy-farm to son Shane.

Modern milking parlour, concreted yards, everything spotless, spick and span. David and Noreen, a Clare native, retired to a cosy new stone-walled house at the edge of the farm, Shane and his new wife Michelle moved into the old family home but modernised it, Michelle using her design touch to enhance what was already there.
