Cragg ready for action

ALISTAIR CRAGG will join Ciarán Ó Lionaird on tomorrow’s programme in the heats of the 5,000m while Deirdre Ryan will compete in the qualifying rounds of the high jump.

Derval O’Rourke is in action in the 100m hurdles on Friday when Paul Hession goes in the 200m heats which will mark the return of Usain Bolt, who false-started in the 100m final on Sunday.

The women’s 4 x 400m squad, who had what team manager, Patsy McGonagle described as “a very good workout” yesterday will launch their Olympic qualification campaign on Friday when they contest the heats.
