Jet set for Laurels boost
National record holder Leeview Jet makes his return to Curraheen, with more than one eye on the big prize, while English and Irish Derby finalist Barefoot Bullet began his racing career here and brings an added touch of class to proceedings.
Munster Derby winner Cooly Colebe has shown top class form here in the past and he too has his sights set on the Laurels.
Of course, in tonight's contest there is a danger that some of the runners will not be fully wound-up but, taking the race at face value, Leeview Jet should prove very hard to beat.
His early pace is nothing short of electric and only a mistimed break cost him victory in the final of the Northern Irish Derby at Drumbo Park when last seen back in June.
His recent sprint trial (17.62) indicates he's ready for tonight's assignment and, although there is some early pace inside him, he looks perfectly housed to lead all the way.
Barefoot Bullet can get the better of Cooly Colebeand Sede Vacante for second place.
