Season’s end can’t come soon enough

FOR a few years now press, pundits and opposition fans have been banging on about how we have an ageing squad and that was going to be our downfall.

Up until now, we have been able to not only counter this claim, but destroy it – especially by winning the double last season. But we are badly creaking this term and I don’t think we are going to turn it around this time.

Had we strengthened the squad in the summer, we probably would have been able to get a few more years out of our senior players.
