Taylor top of the bill for fight night

WORLD and European champion Katie Taylor tops the bill at a major fight night scheduled for Cork’s Rochestown Park Hotel on November 11.

The event will see top fighters from An Garda Síochána and Rylane boxing club host the elite of the New York Police Department. The relationship began when the Garda/Rylane selection provided the opposition for the NYPD at a sell-out show in New York to raise monies for relatives of the victims 9/11.

“It has been a healthy relationship and we have boxed three times in New York – this year at the exclusive New York Athletic Club on the eve of St Patrick’s Day,” Rylane coach, Dan Lane, said.
