Capello not so fab after all

PLANET EARTH has been saved — the evil shagging monster that threatened the morality of the universe has been vanquished. Now that John Terry has been stripped of the captaincy, the balance of the cosmos can return.

Exposed, vilified, humiliated, his personal life in tatters, his professional career stained, the morally perfect can now return to their ivory towers smug in the knowledge that a Chelsea England captain has been overthrown.

I do not condone anything that John Terry has done, but when this affair is getting more column inches, more dedicated radio talk shows, more TV time and more “celebrity sound bites” than Harold Shipman and Ian Huntley ever achieved, you have to agree something is wrong somewhere.
