The big freeze has caused chaos for GAA and rugby authorities at local and national level, and look set to cause serious future implications for the completion of competitions.

Aims to finish the traditional GAA provincial pre-season competitions before the start of the National Football League (NFL) on February 6 have now been placed in serious jeopardy due to weekend postponements.
