Dunne has Vazquez on radar

BERNARD DUNNE has yet to address the challenge of the No 1 contender to his WBA super bantamweight crown, Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym, but his promoter Brian Peters is already planning the Dubliner’s future ahead of that fight.

Dunne returns to the O2 on September 26 to defend the title he plundered from Panamanian, Ricardo Cordoba, at the same venue six months ago.

Despite the fact that the Thai fighter is determined to disrupt the plans, Peters is already busily lining up Dunne’s next fight. That’s a potential megafight with Israel “Magnifico” Vazquez early next year.
