Bironas grabs his second chance as Titans remain unbeaten

THE Tennessee Titans remained unbeaten in the NFL as Rob Bironas booted a 41-yards field goal to seal a 19-16 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.

It was redemption for Bironas, who had a chance to kick a game-winner in regulation but bounced a 47-yard attempt off the upright.

“I was hoping for exactly what happened,” Bironas said. “We’d win the toss and get another shot at it. I don’t miss many, so I wanted another shot.”
