Duddy looks to set up long-awaited world title fight

The 29-year-old Derryman is set to return to the ring in New York on November 21, looking for a victory to take his record to a perfect 26-0 and seal a January match-up with the unbeaten Ronald Hearns at Madison Square Garden.

Hearns, son of the legendary Thomas ‘Hit Man’ Hearns and like his father trained by Emanuel Steward, would provide the stepping stone Duddy needs to line up a 2009 challenge against IBF light-middleweight champion Verno Philips.
