Treacy denies rift with OCI

IRISH Sports Council chief executive John Treacy has denied claims of a rift with the Olympic Council of Ireland.

The OCI have yet to receive their funding from the ISC, but Treacy insists there is nothing unusual in this and stressed all is well between the two organisations.

“We are supporting the Olympic programmes that they have outlined for this year so, at that level, we are working well together and we will continue to work with them .
