Kurtenno.1 in Top 10

SHOW jumper Jessica Kurten put the disappointment of last weekend’s Paris grand prix behind her on Saturday to take the €300,000 Rolex Top 10 in Geneva, Switzerland, with her ‘wonder horse’ Castle Forbes Libertina.

Having racked up 16 faults a week earlier in France to show the brilliant mare’s capacity for unpredictability, Kurten went the other extreme in Geneva, providing the only double clear.

For good measure, the Irish pairing finished joint second in yesterday’s world cup qualifier by five-hundredths of a second to Germany’s Ludger Beerbaum on All Inclusive NRW.
