Cork Friday move sanctioned

IN the statement issued yesterday by the Irish Greyhound Board it was confirmed that the Board has approved the transfer of racing from Wednesday to Friday nights at Curraheen Park “to ensure that their businesses operate on the commercially most viable nights of the week.

As part of this review it will also consider the optimum commercial racing schedule at its Dublin stadia as well as allowing the possibility of a more commercially aware racing schedule in Mullingar.”
