IABA name senior squad for Finland

THE Irish Amateur Boxing Association (IABA) have named an eight man squad of national senior champions for the Geebee Multi Nations in Finland next month.

Conor Ahern, Ryan Lindberg, David Oliver Joyce, John Joe Joyce, Aodh Carlyle, Darren Sutherland, Ian Tims and Cathal McMonagle will represent Ireland in Helsinki between April 12 and 16.

March was a successful month for Irish boxers who took home one gold, four silver, and three bronze medals from senior Multi Nations in Croatia and Poland.
