Heart rumbles to third win in eight days

Having bolted up in the final of the Baggot Racing Open 750 at Harold’s Cross on Friday night, the Paul Hennessy trained star made it three wins and a second from four runs over the trip in the space of eight days when taking the second semi-final of the Barry’s Tea 750 at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Liaise with Lisa on the inside had marginally the best of the break but Heart Rumble was in front by the opening bend and, showing no ill effects of his current demanding schedule, eased to a four length success over Sonatina in 41.73 (43 spots outside the national record he established for the distance a week previously). En route he clocked a sectional of 14.92.
