Perry makes good in squash championships

Madelaine Perry put in another superb performance but could not stop Ireland losing out to fourth seeds Egypt in their quarter final tie at the Women’s World Squash Team Championships in Amsterdam.

Perry won a five game match with Omneya Abdel Kawy 9-1, 1-9, 7-9, 9-1, 9-6.

But Engy Kheirallah beat Aisling Blake 9-0, 9-2, 9-5 and Eman El Amir beat Anna McGeever 9-6, 9-3, 9-3.
