Down to the wire for Lakers

A MONTH into the ESB Superleague few would have predicted BurgerKing Limerick and Gleneagle Lakers would be fighting out the most important game of the season on the last weekend of the competition.

The result won't affect BurgerKing's standing but it should decide whether Lakers or defending champions, Neptune expected to win in Cork against Waterford Crystal go through to the knock-out stages.

The permutations will also dictate whether Killarney have a home game, depending on how Mardyke UCC Demons fare against table toppers, Horans Health Store Tigers, in Tralee tomorrow night.
