Liam Dunne: A hurler with blinkered vision
I have also read in the past week Dunne's criticisms of the amount of coverage that Munster Hurling gets on an annual basis.
I read a quotation from Dunne suggesting that last year's sending off against Offaly was a complete accident.
The video replays certainly did not back up that viewpoint.
I also read that Mr Dunne is sick of reading about Munster Hurling.
As a Cork supporter for more than 30 years, please let me pass on some advice to Mr Dunne.
Genuine hurling people view all hurling counties as a very large family whether they are from Laois, Galway, and Limerick or Down.
We enjoy watching all games of hurling, whether it's the Lenister Final or the Munster Final.
We never differentiate between provinces and provincial finals.
For a man to have played the game at such a high level, to come out with such futile and silly comments is hard to take.
Perhaps he should have a little chat with his ex-manager and true hurling fan Liam Griffin.
