Ireland win squash play-off

Ireland’s men beat Spain 3-1 in their final play-off tie at the European Team Squash Championships in Rennes to finish 5th overall.

Liam Kenny beat Borja Golan 9-7 9-3 1-9 9-4 and Derek Ryan won 9-1 3-9 9-3 9-1 against Oriol Salvia.

Steve Richardson came back from two down to beat Victor Montserrat 3-9 2-9 9-3 9-1 9-1.
