Irish darts players to mix it with stars

TWO players each from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will qualify to compete in the 2004 Sky Bet World Grand Prix and get the chance to mix it with the big guns of world darts.

The qualifying rounds will take place at the City West Hotel, Saggart, Co Dublin, and players must actually be resident in either Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland to be eligible and be over 18 years of age.

The entry fee is e10 and the closing date for entries is August 27. Entry forms are available through: www.planetdarts.co.uk and also www.dartsinireland.com as well as from Michael O'Sullivan, 29 Mervue Crescent, Ballyvolane, Cork. Entry fees should be sent to the above address.
