Irish in curling win

The Irish men’s side won through unbeaten to the semi-finals of the European B-Curling Championship in the Bulgarian capital Sofia yesterday.

Nagano Olympian Peter Wilson and his squad beat the Hungarians 9-7 to stay at the top of their group.

They now take on the Czech Republic for a place in the B-final against either Finland or England with the B-title and a place in the world championship challenge match the prize.
