I bought a ticket online yesterday morning and took off up to Dublin for my first Croke Park outing of the year. I was only on the 13-metre line and while the view would have been better from the press box, it was brilliant to be so close to the action - and to be a first-hand witness to one of the greatest club teams of all time.

You have to give it up to Ballygunner. I might have questioned them at stages this season but I was only doing so because, while I always knew they were capable of bagging that second All-Ireland, they still had to go and get the job done. And they emphatically did so here.
