Kieran Shannon: For more green flags, hurling needs more black cards

The lack of a black card deterrent in club hurling is indicative of an ambiguity over the punishment

The scoreline now suggests it wasn’t even close.

When one team outscores another by nine points it’s hard to quibble about the outcome. To do so is to suggest the latest plaudits to be thrown Ballygunner’s way aren’t fully merited when clearly they are; to that considerable pile this column will add that the perennial Waterford champions are clearly the greatest Munster club team of the last 45 years.
