A new bill proposes to ban foxhunting in Ireland. It has passed the first stage, but the debate has some distance to run 

A fox hunt in West Kent, England in 2003. Fox hunting was banned in England and Wales in 2004.

One of the only interesting points in the dire Presidential campaign centred on foxhunting and coursing.

The issue was used to put Heather Humphreys on the backfoot.
