Much like Ireland’s gameplan, my Six Nations reflections ahead of this weekend’s matches revolve around Bundee Aki.

Watching the Ireland-England game last Saturday made me appreciate the importance of the IRFU hanging onto to prize assets like Aki as the English suffered without players of the quality of the exiled Manu Tuilagi; while the Scotland-Italy game underlined just how important an elite-level inside centre is to any Test team. Or rather how the Scots are just not the same without their injured captain Sione Tupulotu.
