In one of his million interviews this week I saw Fury say he won’t be fighting in the UK again any time soon and he’ll be staying in Saudi Arabia for the foreseeable.

We’re 24 years into this century now and I reckon we’ve had maybe four or five Fights of the Century. Well lads, ye can pack the rest of them away now because the real deal has finally arrived.

I śaw the great Don McRae write this week that “the heavyweight championship of the world used to be the most significant prize in sport” and even if that’s sadly no longer the case, by Saturday night either Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk will be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world since we entered this century. Is that significant enough for ye?
