Last Sunday, FIFA handed the rare privilege of hosting a World Cup final over to the worst Super Bowl venue in recent memory.

The decision was announced live on US television in the middle of the afternoon and, although you’d like to think I’d be in the loop on this outcome or even a little quicker on the draw in hearing about it, sadly, you’d be mistaken.
