Michéal wins battle of the O’Sullivans at Durrus

All four Munster Junior C semi-final slots have now been secured. Former Cork senior footballer Michéal O’Sullivan meets last year’s All-Ireland U16 champion Jordan O’Sullivan at Durrus. The other semi-final sees Michael Faulkner play Timmy Murphy at Gortroe.

Michéal O’Sullivan led all the way to a comfortable last shot win over Mark Sheehan at Baile Mhuirne. He opened with a big bowl to win the first tip well. He went over the rise in two and out sight in three to go a bowl up. He raced almost two bowls clear in five. Then he played two bowls to right and Sheehan brought the lead under a bowl.
