Black Hercules can get chasing career off to good start at Navan

Navan is not where I expected to be this afternoon, but I suppose it was better to find out early in the week at home that Un De Sceaux was a bit flat than when leaving the Railway Fences and wondering why he wasn’t picking up going to the Pond Fence.

It’s disappointing, as I thought Sandown would really have suited his style of running. But it wasn’t meant to be, and now it’s all systems go for Christmas .

I start off on Bello Conti in the maiden hurdle. He was meant to run at Clonmel on Thursday, but the meeting was cancelled.
