Patrick O’Donoghue just edged PJ Cooney in the last shot of their Munster intermediate championship clash at Templemichael on Saturday.

In the other intermediate championship scores, Denis O’Driscoll gave an exhibition in his two bowls-of-odds win over Davey Fitzgerald at Castletownkenneigh and Trevor O’Meara had a comprehensive win over Patrick O’Driscoll at Pouladuff.

In the West Cork Junior A championship, veteran Chris O’Donovan beat Aidan Hurley at Kealkil and Gerry Gibbons beat Pete Murray at the Clubhouse.
