Tommy Griffin: ‘They’re 18-19, you’ve to keep them interested — and keep them employed too’

The great revival is well underway in West Kerry schools football. 

Dara Ó Cinnéide sees them the odd time, young lads with the thumbs out trying to hail a lift home after training with Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne.

If he gives them a spin back out the road from Dingle, he tries to get a rise out of them about their teacher, his old teammate Eamon Fitzmaurice, who managed them to last year’s Hogan Cup. They never bite, though.
