Hurling icon Eoin Kelly says Tipp need strong start

Tipperary hurling icon Eoin Kelly says the Premier County must hit the ground running this year, writes Michael Moynihan.

Kelly, who retired recently, believes Tipp need silverware to build their players’ confidence.

“I’m looking forward to the first game in the league against Dublin in Parnell Park because if you look at our first league game for the last four or five years — we haven’t hurled great.
