Hubbard overcomes Buckley to take victory in Ballinacurra
Buckley opened with a big shot, but Hubbard beat the tip. He won the second exchange too and carried his lead to Brinny cross with his third. Buckley was well short of Foley’s with his next and Hubbard got a good bowl to peeping sight. Hubbard lofted a nice lead there. Buckley’s next was caught left at the nooks. Hubbard replied with a great bowl to Perrott’s to go almost a bowl in front.
Hubbard played his next into the hole at Perrott’s wall. Buckley hit back with a great bowl. That put him back in the frame until Hubbard got a massive bowl to Innishannon cross which put him almost a bowl clear again.
