Two shades of blue dominated the lively commuter carriages meaning those punters wearing the green and red of Mayo or the red of Munster were spared the usual slagging in enemy territory as Dublin and Leinster supporters mingled and mocked each other in light-heartened tones.

Needless to say the terms ‘bogball’ and ‘egg-chasing’ were spread liberally along the length of the train.
