Mourinho proves a little love goes a long way in sport

Sometimes Jose Mourinho seems the most heartless man in football.

Nine years on from triggering Anders Frisk to walk away from the game, he still has no qualms about having pop shots at match officials.

His behaviour has ruined his relationship with one of football’s greatest gentlemen — as well as football men — in Pep Guardiola, while in recent weeks he has again disrespected other fine men and coaches such as Manuel Pellegrini, Arsene Wenger and Roberto Mancini who he could at least have accepted deserved some credit for laying the foundations, whatever about building the roof at Inter Milan.
