New York trip gives plenty of food for thought

On arriving in Dublin Airport for the All Star trip to New York, I spotted Joe McMahon standing near the check-in desk.

Under pressure to get something written for the next day’s paper, and even though I knew both of us were still half asleep, I decided to ask him for an interview.

Good man that he is, Joe complied. But I needn’t have been so anxious.
