Nemo continue to set the standard

IN the majority of senior football clubs in Cork, the ambition is to win one county every decade.

In Nemo Rangers they set themselves higher standards and strive to keep matching them year in year out. Sweeping up four titles in-a-row between 2005 and 2008 clearly has not sated their appetite and they’ve offered a powerful response to any suggestions that they were on the decline when crashing out in last season’s quarter-final.

Their achievements ensured they were a marvellous club well before yesterday afternoon in Páirc Ui Chaoimh. Victory over St Finbarr’s merely offered further proof of that.
