No need for Nemo to face sanction

I WONDER if the powers that rushed to condemn Nemo Rangers for facilitating the Irish rugby team during the cold snap, are getting some sense.

Strictly speaking Nemo’s act of generosity and understanding was contrary to rule on the usage of GAA facilities but in the circumstances it was understandable. After all isn’t it said that there is an exception to every rule. Well this was the exception.

It was surprising, indeed somewhat churlish for Croke Park to be singling out Nemo for special mention especially as HQ mentioned that other clubs – unnamed – had been in breach of rules as well.
