This week Hodgson is a hypocrite; Pool look disinterested; Gerrard to move on; Benitez too cautious; Utd fans shouldn’t celebrate just yet; Terry living in Alice in Wonderland; Lots of gless over Chelsea exit; Barca a certainty for CL; United get favourable draw; Smalling not ready for Utd step up yet. Staunton sacked by Darlington; Will Europe take primacy over domestics fixtures.

The Letter of the Week goes to William Grady, Mallow. Get in touch with your postal address and our magnificent prize will be winging its way to you before you know it.

Red card for all the blindingly obvious reasons.
