Point-to-Point series launched

DAIRYGOLD in association with Pegus Horse Feed have launched their point-to-point series of qualifier races and final for the 2009/2010 season.

The launch, at Cork Racecourse was attended by local trainers, jockeys and members of the point to point associations. Frank Hayes, chairman of Cork-Waterford Point to Point Association, expressed his delight with the initiative, adding that it was welcome and timely in the difficult economic conditions.

Sixteen qualifier races are taking place at various point to point venues across Cork, Limerick and Tipperary finishing at Liscarroll on March 28.
