He casts his eye over your comments and gives his own critical analysis of the goings on throughout the world of football.
You may agree with him or then again you may not. This week its a mad world of football; Chelsea’s debt wiped out; Grant’s appointment; Owners never watch football; What did Megson do wrong; Mourinho v Ancelotti; Wigan’s defence have already conceded 44 goals; City were right to get rid of Hughes; O’Shea a huge loss to United; With Torres there is hope; Joke is on Redknapp; Parker would be a great signing; You’ve got to like Wenger.

LIAM – as we enter the New Year what sort of football world is it when one club can be on the brink of going into administration because it owes money to the tax authorities and can’t even pay its players, while another is in hock to Icelandic banks and yet another club can have all its debts wiped out at the swipe of a pen by a Russian oligarch. I’ll tell you what kind . . . it’s a mad world.
