THE FAI would have saved themselves an embarrassing climbdown on summer soccer by timing their “Listening and Learning” exercise before the “Not Listening and Lecturing” equivalent.

It’s been two years and four months since a consultation roadshow promised to tap into a significant knowledge base from coaches, players, parents, referees, volunteers, and leagues.
