Operating in the shadow of the Six Nations isn’t easy but Munster’s return to competitive action last Friday night against the Scarlets, after the recent jolly against the Crusaders at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, was notable in that it signaled the return of double Springbok World Cup winner RG Snyman to the front five.

With just months left on his four-year sojourn down south and last weekend’s appearance marking just his fourth start and 11th appearance in red since his arrival, Snyman needs to deliver a big shift over the remainder of the season before heading off to the RDS.
