In July, former GAA president Larry McCarthy sat down for a quick interview with Sport for Business owner Rob Hartnett.

In the piece, he spoke about the length of time that was required for integration to become a reality between the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies Golf Union. “I laugh when I hear Golf Ireland say it took five years to integrate the GUI and ILGU. It took more like 25.”
