The quality and excitement that we have witnessed so far in the football championship guarantees a genuine sense of anticipation as the All-Ireland series steams over the horizon.

Whether it is teams gradually adapting to the new rules, or if it is that they have kept something back for summer, slowly we are starting to see real detail emerge in gameplans.
