Anthony Daly: Clare beware, wounded Tipp have statement to make

Who knows what will happen next? This time last year, Tipperary went into their final Munster SHC round robin game against Waterford expecting to turn up to stamp their ticket to the Munster final. Except they didn’t turn up, Waterford turned them over - and turned the whole championship up in a heap in the process.
There is a slight touch about that ahead of Sunday's Clare-Tipperary match, which is almost a carbon copy of Tipp-Waterford last year. A lot of people in Clare think that they’re already in the Munster final. But they’re not. A lot of Tipp people – and I’d include the players and management in that category – thought the same last year. And they were damn lucky by the end of the day to scrape into that third spot.
